The farm animals in the pueblos look very skinny to a gringa. However, they freely wander around eating whatever, so it does not appear that they have little to eat. Kinda makes "our" goats seem injected with substances that fatten them up. Then again heat might play a role. It would be worth a study. And for the record, my personal opinion is that kobe beef is borderline if not totally a crime.
