Today I was humbled by the patience of a pineapple seller who demonstrated to me what 70 cents looks like after I mistook what he said to mean $7.00. I insisted that he keep the rest of the $1.00 that I handed him as a tip because I yelped initially. Best damn pineapple I have ever tasted. Seriously. He prepared it so quickly and I learned by watching him. I ate half of the pineapple and gave the rest to a random guy in a store along the street who wanted to say hello. I am going to buy a pineapple everyday and continue to give half away. So sweet, so sweet. Beautiful pineapple. The entire cart smelled like beautiful pineapples. Such a delicious aroma.
